Each year TSA members are offered these and many more opportunities at the national conference.

AboutGeorgia TSA's annual culminating state conference of leadership development and competitive events provides our student members opportunities beyond the traditional classroom/laboratory setting which add to their increased knowledge and understanding of an ever- changing technical world. During our Competitive Events Program, GA TSA provides our members with an outlet to exhibit their knowledge and skills through our competitive events and earn awards.
General InformationThe Georgia TSA State Leadership Conference will be held March 15- 18, 2023 at The Classic Center in Athens, Georgia. On-time Registration deadline is February 17, 2023. Registration fees are $100 per student and advisor. Chaperones and guest registration fees are $45. Registration fees include lunch on Thursday. Students attending must participate in competitive events. AboutOur annual Fall Leadership Conference is designed to provide Georgia TSA members and advisors the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, communication, and team building skills by attending hands-on workshops, seminars and general sessions. This conference also provides for chapter members and advisors to gain knowledge and skills in relation to our Competitive events Program by attending hands on workshops, seminars, and sessions during our Technical Sessions. In addition we have four signature events on site, a VEX State Qualifier Tournament, a First Lego League Tournament, a Georgia TSA Electric Vehicle Rally, depending on interest, a VEX IQ Tournament and, of course FLC wouldn’t be complete without our iconic Armada Boat Race.
This conference is only open to affiliated chapters. Please pay affiliation before October 2, 2022. Once you have affiliated and paid, then National TSA will activate your roster and the EMS will allow you to register for the conference. (Always allow at least two hours for the update to process). FLC Registration Info Guide link is found on the right side of this page Our schedule gives robotic competitors a chance to participate in the Leadership and Technical Sessions too, without interfering with the scheduled tournaments. Please encourage your robotic students to take advantage of the session we have provided on Saturday for them. Registration will be posted as soon as the planning is complete. The 2022 GA TSA Fall Leadership Conference will be held at the Jekyll Island Conference Center and the headquarters hotel is the Villas by the Sea. Plan to be there on November 11-13, 2022. LINK to GATSA's Page About This event is held at Reaves Arena at the Georgia National Fair Grounds in Perry, Georgia on October 10, 2022. At Tech Day students have the opportunity to compete in various competitions to win Fair Award Ribbons and cash awards for themselves and their chapter. A GATSA rally helps get students pumped up and then compete in 11 uniquely GA TSA contests! In addition, attendees have the opportunity to purchase discounted, all-day ride passes to enjoy the fair. Competitions and the rally require separate registrations, via EMS as well as the GNF Website, due by September 7, 2022 RegistrationDeadline: Sept 7, 2022 Competitions Pre-judged Competitions will be turned in at CORE or electronically submitted prior to midnight, September 7, 2022. These events will be judged during CORE (Chapter Officer Retreat for Excellence) and not at the Rally. None of those events will be accepted at the Rally. TSA has competitions for Engineering Students as well as Computer Science Students. Because these competitions are through TSA, TSA dress code must be followed in order to compete.
The Georgia Technology Student Association is a charter affiliate of National TSA and dedicated to middle and high school students enrolled or previously enrolled or that have an interest in engineering & technology education pathway and STEM Education programs. Georgia Technology Student Association (TSA) chapters prepare students to be successful inventors, designers, creative problem solvers, responsible citizens and leaders who will influence and build the future.
There are two logos. The left logo is the Georgia State TSA Logo. The right logo with the three bars, is the National Logo for the State of Georgia. This makes all state and territory logos more uniform for National Events. |
