GTRI Poster Presentation
Educators were asked to submit abstracts for selection in a poster presentation. My abstract "Code Club Wonder League Dash and Dot Robot Competition" was selected. I made this poster, and it too was selected. Georgia Tech blew up and printed on foam board selected posters. Then we all got to present our STEM education ideas to a gathering of people interested in STEM education. Then we got to see a very informative panel of STEM Leaders. One major topic discussed was the gender gap in computer science. Overall, it was a great experience and I am honored to have the chance to share Oakcliff Elementary's Code Club, which is half girls and half boys, and Oakcliff's STEM "awesomness."
