    Biography

In all these jobs I've had over the years, I always gravitated towards teaching. I taught for seven years when the recession hit and I was laid off. I went to law school, became a lawyer, decided I liked teaching better, then returned to teaching.

I began teaching at Oakcliff in January 2016 in Special Education. I am the school's webmaster.

In 2018-2019, I am on the Technology Committee, Parent Committee, and am sponsoring TV Production and I plan to take many 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to the DCSD Technology Competition in January.

In 2017-2018, I moved to the Computer Lab.  This year, I sponsored theCode Club with Mrs. Karvis and Ms. Lembach, Lego Jr., Chess Club with Mrs. Karvis, and SeaPerch with Dr. McAnespie, and I took my second 1st place Tech Competition student to State Competition in Macon, GA.

Here are 25 things you might hear your child say about me - and all are true.
