Examples of the First Days of Drawing Using Technology 

K-1st grades used Doodle-pad (link) or art supplies to draw a fox. Some students had time to work on backgrounds of complimentary colors.  2-5th grades used Sketchpad (link) to begin digital art.  We started with the pen tool and drew a simple orange fox. Then we used the pixel fill function to color in the fox's orange body.  The background was supposed to be in complementary colors to orange, or blues/greens.  Many students saw and tried the introduction to isometric drawing (3-D) drawing of the blocks.
